Here's what I used...
PaperArtsy Smoothy Super Smooth Card... 240gsm.
Deep Red Stamp... Great Blue Heron.
Visible Image Stamp Set... Destination Inknown.
Ranger Distress Ink... Pumice Stone, Bundled Sage, Peeled Paint and Stormy Sky.
Spectrum Noir Colorista Alcohol Markers... Cream, Sandstone, Daffodil, Umber, Forest Green, Curulean, Cobalt, Pistachio, Cyan and Pearl Blue.
Momento Ink... Black.
Versafine Ink...Onyx Black.
Clarity Stamp Stencil... Bulrushes. I have removed the bulrushes.
Here's what I did...
I began with a piece of card measuring 7" x 7". I stamped my image first as it is quite large and I wanted to get the whole image in. I used momento ink as I wanted to use alcohol markers for a change and this really is the best ink in my opinion. I also stamped the image onto masking paper and cut out. Place this over the stamped image. Now carefully line up the stencil to incorporate the image and tape in place with removable tape. Brush over the distress inks until happy with the depth of colour. Before removing the stencil, take a piece of blending foam and blend in all the ink that is on the stencil. This clears stencil at same time as giving the edges that stronger edge. Now remove the masking from the image carefully.
Now the fun part. Colour the image with your chosen colours. I must admit I didn't spend too long doing this. That's the great thing with alcohol markers, they all blend together so well.
Once happy with everything take the wording from the Visible Image stamp set and stamp using black ink. My choice as always is Versafine.
All to do now is mount onto black card and then onto your chosen matching colour card before mounting onto card base.
Thanks for stopping by and enjoy the rest of your weekend.
Until next time
